These profiles were created with the intention of helping students find teachers whose philosophies and methods will suit them best.
34 year old female, divorced mother of two. I've been studying psionics for about 10 years, and energy working in general for about 9 years prior to that (19 years total). I have written a beginning psionics training manual. I was mentored by master psion Anka. I approach psionics as a skill, and use a practical and systematic method of teaching, very similar to Anka's teaching method. I do not believe in karma or any varient thereof, and I do not teach ethics, though I encourage people to have some. I do teach etiquette, and insist upon it. I am not religious, nor do I incorporate spirituality into my teachings. I am accepting of those who do, however, and can also work particularly well with otherkin, therians, and vampires. I work best with students who are self-motivated and able to learn well from reading, whom I can give assignments to and check progress with periodically, rather than those who want continual guidance at all times. I'm not currently taking on new students as a general rule, but if you REALLY impress me I might consider it.
21 year old female, horse trainer by occupation. I’m a born-on (phoenix) and have always had some awareness for psionics pretty much at the same time I began having self-awareness (2-3 years old). I didn’t start actively practicing my abilities, which mainly consist of high empathy, healing, lucid dreaming, and moderate telepathy until I was about 5 or thereabouts. I have continued my self-education and expanded it to include other natural abilities of mine such as “feeling” future timelines and communication with things other than humans (however, I do not practice anything related to the Astral). In addition, I also study certain types of primal magic, Planetary Communication, and various other occult matters. Generally, as a rule for my own reputation, I rarely “officially” practice with other people in the Psion Guild and I do not do aura-reading, scanning, spar, etc. I believe firmly in trying the mundane first, and am a healthy skeptic. I do not take on students, and while I will usually try to answer questions as best I can, I dislike being continuously bothered 24/7 to have intelligent psionic/magic-related conversations. Please think of me more as a consultant teacher, rather than an official one.
