	Recognizing signatures is covered in another article, here. Once you are able to recognize them, how do you GET someone's signature? If you have met them, it's simple, you can probably sense their signature as easily as you remember their face. However, if you have not met them, things become more complicated. In many cases, you can pick up a person's signature through talking to them on a telephone, or via online chats or instant messages. Occasionally people will even send a strong enough signal through with an e-mail or forum post to enable you to acquire a complete signature from it. It is possible to reduce the amount of energy sent along with such posts, and thus reduce the chance of someone acquiring your signature via an e-mail or forum post, if you wish to. Some persons are able to acquire signatures easily from items that an individual has been handling (and thus has left energy traces on). This is part of the skill known as psychometry. This can also be done with places a person has visited. Retrocognition may be involved in acquiring signatures via this method in some cases. Somewhat more oddly, some folks can also acquire a person's signature from a photograph of them. Perhaps retrocognition is involved in this as well. If you need to acquire the signature of someone who's relatively hostile toward you using a computer, and they aren't sending enough for you to work with, make them mad. Angry people tend to send more energy, and have less control over reducing their sending.
