Ok, folks. We're gonna start doing a bit more housecleaning around here. So pay attention.

If you make a post about some outlandish, far-fetched subject or overpowered psi application, we're going to move it.

If you reply to an existing thread with one of the above--we're going to MOVE the post. We'll start a new thread for it, if necessary, but we're not going to have de-railing of serious threads with this kind of thing any longer. If you aren't sure what is fluffy, or what is far-fetched, then paying attention to what we move will help clue you in, and you'll learn (hopefully quickly).

It's not funny or cute to add these things to serious threads. You can talk about 'em--hey, sometimes useful things can come out of wild speculation. But you can't turn earnest threads into nonsense any longer.

So, start policing yourself a bit better, and make our job easier. Consider whether what you're saying is really reasonable. If it's not, then post it in the appropriate area--we have one now.
