This is one of the few psi techniques that i can use proficiently and quickly, though its use is extremely limited. I gather psi around the sides of my hand, gathered from my palms, and if i strike someone with said energy, it causes minor pain, and a stinging sensation.
A question i want to know is, since it involves hitting someone with energy, would it be harmful to an energy based being, such as a construct or ghost?

In my opinion, unpredictable. Depends if the target has been set up as an energy sucker or similar.

Yes it is a limited and rather beginner type move trying adding a strong emotion as your energy like anger

practical use has shown your last statement true, but i wont go into that experience.

I considered adding anger, as i am a dou style martial artist already, however, its hard for me to calm down after getting angry, and makes some parts of energy manipulation rather hard to do until I do calm down. However, emotion does seem to strengthen my abilities...anothjerr point to add to my research.

Emotions do strengthen abilities, but I don't use anger too often anymore.
In my experience, positive emotions work much better

Besides, along with the health hazards associated with it;

I don't want to foster anger into blind hate like i did last time.

whenever I use it, It diverts my attention from my original goal into one that is motivated by negative selfishness.

I lose control of myself when I use it too often.

Besides, there's plenty of other emotions to use (and I'm learning to feed of of others people's)
