New System?

Hello,

I have been working on a new system for the Psion Guild, and I am wandering if I should know about anything before I get too deep in it?
(this question is mainly for "Winged Wolf")

(I have improvement ideas for the departments, etc.)

(I think a new system would help)

Try adding more information. The word system is a little vague. You could mean psionics system (and then there's more it could be there), forum system, anything.

I have two sets of plans, one that could added when it is done, and the other would take time and money to add.

Example, here is part of what I have now...

Member Services "Department" to be changed to Member Services Branch...anyway something like that.

Main thing about it is..."A department can NOT contain other departments! It just makes no sense!"

Well, you have managed to leave us perfectly clueless about what your other plan might conceivably be, since...you didn't actually say anything about it.

I can tell you this, though...the evasiveness is just starting to get a little bit annoying, so that I'm personally increasingly less likely to like whatever it is you're planning on doing...whatever it might be.

I'm not 100% sure why you think there is something wrong with the current structure (if that's what you're talking about).

OK, I guess I can show an Example...It is better than me explaining it in detail.
I can explain this much...

It is an Advanced User Profile System that would be almost Separate from the Forum. (Containing blogs, Leveling bar -[I do not know how that would work], Friends list, etc.)

...enough of that, how about you see an example for yourself on a different website.

Anyway, I know something like that being added here would not happen anytime soon and probably never, but I wanted the Idea to be known so it could be used later-on.

No, Not at this time. (I do not have the needed skill. Maybe in a few more years.)

I do not know how much it would cost, but if needed I would pay for it myself or donate money so it could be possible.

As for how feasible desireable this is--that I leave up to the Tech Team to decide, honestly.

You send it to the paypal address winged_wolf3@yahoo.com at the moment, and it would be used to pay for domain names, hosting fees, and vbulletin registration fees. Any left over after that will be kept until some use for it comes up later that is voted to be a wise expenditure for the Guild.
