I've been idling here for a while, so I guess I ought to give something back.

I'm finding I have a little bit of extra time here and there, so I could probably eventually step into some sort of role or function. Especially being an Australian, because there aren't many of us here at present. To my knowledge, it's just me, Gabriel, and Lesenthe. Australia's a big place, and we're still pretty removed from each other.
If you wanted an active Australian memberbase, personally I think it would be helpful to have a representative here and there... Kinda just to show people that this Guild isn't an entire world away, but right on their doorstep as well. I think I'm the only one in Brisbane, so I'll stick my hand up for something once I'm ready.

Problem is, is that I'd pretty much have be taught everything from the ground up, if I'm required to teach people. Cuz I know how I do things, I just don't know how other people do their stuff. Learning from someone would be a good method for me to learn how to teach others.

Other than that, I'm pretty much cool with anything... I'll set aside a few nights a week to re-read over everything, because honestly I've only skimmed over it. :\

Well, for some good reasons, we have a policy in place for the creation of chapter houses that requires there to be several individuals in an area who can meet offline. Chapter houses are GREAT. We used to have 3, now we only have one, the primary one here in Wyoming. We WANT to encourage people to get out there and meet offline, not merely to sit at home at their computer. The Guild is not meant to be simply an internet organization. There are people in your local area who might like to meet you, and to find out about all of this...don't be so shy or paranoid that you never try to find them. Want to be more active locally? Slap our logo and url on a flyer, and tack it up on a metaphysical shop's bulletin board, in a bohemian coffee shop, anywhere, really (with permission, of course). You may be surprised how many local psis there are all around you who are interested in meeting others. They may not be searching the internet and finding us there, so give them a hand--tip them off that we exist.

I'd like to encourage people to create some graphics designs which we can put on bumper stickers, stickers, and magnets, which includes our site URL. (Current logo wear does not...a bit of an oversight on my part). These can be offered through cafepress. Design flyers for printout which could be posted on local contact boards in places where psis may be expected to frequent--or even in supermarkets, heck we're everywhere, it doesn't matter. Make them interesting.
