What do you guys think of this?
Has anyone else ever come across this article and list? I think it's an interesting theory they have here on how they think psionics may work, and it includes their take on the difference between metaphysical and psionic abilities. Not sure that I buy what goes where on their catagory list, but I do find the "Common Misconceptions About Metaphysical and Psionic Abilities" to be a good point of view of how some abilities may actually work or not.

What do you think?

Here is the one thing I found wrong in the articles.

This one is referring to the metaphysical gifts.
“the second exception is that these skills are not possible with insects, bacteria, and invertebrates in general.” I have used my telepathy on many insects and other invertebrates, but have never tried to affect bacteria.

Other then that I found it very accurate as far as my knowledge goes.

I'm sure alot of it works different or doesn't fit others. I'm still personally not convinced of the need to split these abilities into catagories at all.

I have used shields on insects. Not around much invertebrates.

Well, rather obviously you cannot use telepathy on anything that doesn't have a brain---and you can't use empathy on anything that doesn't experience emotions. Primal-pathy (instinct reading/control) and telepathy do work on insects.

I will have to try Primalpathy next time I'm talked into camping. I absolutely hate mosquitoes. I've been able to "push" flies and bees away from me...Come to think of it I'm pretty sure I hate all bugs. =p

Then what did I do when I made bugs do various things, and read there mind to find there main instincts??

Re-reading the paragraph you quoted will reveal the answer to your question.

And here I was afraid to bring up my telepathic experiments with the swarms of ladybugs that plague this area in the spring and fall. Sadly, though, I achieved the opposite effect, and brought every ladybug within a mile after some projection. Our house doesn't look good in red with tiny black spots.

Lol you should have tried making a ward construct. I find these things work fairly well.
