I was banned. Which is fine. I sure hope the intended result of the banning was to make me very much so embarassed, and cause a permanant retreat from the IRC channels. Because that is my most probable course of action. I haven't decided whether or not to drop from the forums as well, but that is also a very probable course of action. I guess whatever is meant to be shall come to pass.

You do not appear to be banned from the IRC channel. I was told by a moderator that you were only kicked. There's no ban on record.

I feel no dire need to explain my thought processes, mostly because I've had extraordinarily little success in the past, but also because its rather lengthy. The shortened version of it is that whatever action was taken (I can't remember myself, and I already deleted everything pertaining to IRC to blow it off the map entirely) has been equated to a banning. Recent and retro interpretations confirm such a result in more than 14 different ways. I'd copy paste some, but as I mentioned earlier, all material pertaining to it is gone. And direct inferences that most people would make from it reveal no major or in any way important reasons to return. So, as in many prior instances, I'm gone.

No, my understanding was you were kicked for saying something silly (the whole Chuck Norris thing that folks were asked to drop), and that was the extent of it. If you choose to take such a small and insignificant thing so seriously that you leave IRC channels forevermore over it...I would just have to say...
Damn, get some perspective, for crying out loud.

i have perspective. fortunately for me, im such an awesomely abnormal person that it makes very little difference. in fact, one could describe me as being fond of just leaving things forever. my best effort at explaining it is that I feel a strong need to teach people a sense of permanance. Everyone is just "more more more faster faster faster right the heck now!!!" nowadays. I think people could seriously benifit from having something (potentially) useful just disappear and never return.

And I also see it as a test. For instance, about a month ago now, I completely abandoned a msn messenger account. but before i did, i left a massive trail of clues that i personally error proofed (a full class worth of second graders managed to solve each clue, I was absolutely certain a couple highschoolers could too). I let the clues float on top for a month and a half, freely accessible to all. And then I left. Two out of sixteen to twenty people managed to follow. One had to be told that there actually were clues. And the other saw my status message and asked me about it personally just so he wouldnt have to look for anything. I can't imagine a friend of mine having so little knowledge of my issues. I dedicate a huge amount of my time to keeping track of them, they are certainly able to do the same, especially if they cared at all. Which apparently they didnt. Anyways, this particular event wouldnt be so much a test as a disappearance. Pavlov's Dog reeks of security, far more than any other sub identity I have ever used. Besides the forums, you'd be very hard pressed to find anything connected to him, beyond maybe an email adress. Most of the links you had, actually, shrivelled up and died a short while ago. My opinion is, if someone leaves, and there's reason to think they're ok, I assume they simply don't want to talk to me any longer. I'm certainly not going to stalk them or follow them.
It's their choice...I figure they don't want to be bothered, so I don't bother them.

I understand the logic, but usually I leave hints to some contrary conclusion. Not so much in this case though. Mostly because theres nothing to point at.
