It has to have been well over a year since I was able to access the chat, maybe even two. I heard that it could be due to my norton and its retartdation. So exactly, how would I go about fixing it? It must have something to do with my internet security and or Firewall. Also, good job with the site, though, in the php version some of the pages dont exactly work for me. I assume it's because it's not entirely finnished yet, or my computer is being retarted again.

Most likely it's because the php site version is not entirely finished yet. It's still a work in progress.
The chat is accessable using mIRC to connect to psionics.net (Psionics: Random Server on the pulldown list).
You can also access it via a java interface at http://www.psionics.net (simply register on that forum, and click the chat link at the top of the forum).
The room is #Psion_Guild

The problem is with Norton Firewall

The pictures are in French, but you can probably still figure it out.
Another solution would be to get rid of Norton and get another (better) program

I don't believe you did. But I HATE Norton. When a virus goes and wipes out Norton's Internal Database and renders Norton absolutely useless, and then a few more viruses come in and shut down my comp for a week, until i found a way to sneak around them, and THEN be forced to handpick through all the files trying to manually delete the viruses.... You lose all respect for Norton

You lose all respect for Norton once you try and uninstall it, as well. AVG Free is MUCH better, and it's free, too.
(You should also have some kind of anti spyware program, like spybot or microsoft's anti-spyware, and an anti-adware program, like adaware. That way, you'll be fairly well off. Better then most people, anyways.)

I use Avast, and supplement by running occasional SpyBot and AdAware sweeps.

(You should also have some kind of anti spyware program, like spybot or microsoft's anti-spyware, and an anti-adware program, like adaware. That way, you'll be fairly well off. Better then most people, anyways.)
I have AVG Free and Adaware.....
Also it helps to use Firefox instead of IE, better security right there so then you don't need the better anti-adware programs
