Title says it all.
I have no clue what I am.
I can say that I started moving wind and weather without knowing anything about psionics. I also instinctively did shields, particularly cloaking shields, though I didn't know what they were called.

Born-on's seem to use psi instinctively when they are born. Partials have to learn how to use psi.

Not quite. Partials have ability that they use without being taught, but it's mostly random. Born-ons seem to have instincts to use abilities appropriately.

What are the different types of born-ons? I mean to say, can you tell if I'm simple born-psi, or phoenix, switcher, etc.?

If you generate enough energy to automatically win every fight without trying, you could be a generator. If psi's collapse whenever you walk past, you could be a vamp. If you think that you own the world (but not just in thought, like the rest of the human race) because you've got totally awesome powers, you could be a phoenix.
And if you think that I'm a dumbass, you're completely normal, either in a psionic or non-psionic manner.

It's not usually important, foundation and beginner skills are the same for everyone. It's not that common for someone to have an issue related solely to their birthswitch, save maybe for phoenixes and psy-vamps. And they already know they're weird.
