Hmm, WW said something about making objects lighter in a past post, and I remember others mentioning this as well. I was curious, how would one might go about attempting to do so?

Basically, insert a field between the object and the ground, and sort of "pry"...not sure how to explain beyond that.

i dont have enough experience in this area of psionics to give a psi energy based explanation, so i'll just give a rough outline of what i gathered from one of those tiny matrix style sites with very little actual content (i have had some success with this technique however).

in essense, you visualize the object(s) in question. Every portion, inside and out, visualize it in its entirety[spelling?]. Now visualize it filling up with a PURE, GOLDEN WHITE LIGHT (that part is important). visualize it BECOMING LIGHTER AND LIGHTER UNTIL GRAVITY DOESNT AFFECT IT ANYMORE (that part is also important). then give it a test, like throwing it across the room or something.

Techniques and such aquired from sites like that usually serve only as a psychological aid. That is, they only help because you expect them to.

Visualizing the object as being full of golden white light is probably the least important part of the tech, rather you should use whatever visualization that your sub-concious can eaisily interpret as meaning "make the object lighter" such as arrows pointing up to indicate upward force.
Though in truth, it's completely unnecessary. Granted it can help you out, but it's really just a sub-concious crutch rather then an actual technique that makes things lighter.

As far as the psionguild's theories are concerned, the best way to make something lighter is to use a field of energy to push the object against the normal flow of gravity.

Hey there all. This is my first post I am just getting back into all this after a long time of trying to distance myself but the study of psi balls has got me thirsty for knowledge. After reading this post I thought of something someone taught me and a couple friends back when i was in like 7th grade and im 29 now. This always worked and we never understood why but now I think I have a better idea from all the new info on the web. Ok it was one of those weird older spiritual guys that taught us this. Anyways the way we were taught required 5 people one person sits in a chair and the other four stand around him on the four corners of the chair. now first everyone clasps their hands together, with themselves not with the others, but leave your two pointer fingers sticking out. now depending where you are you put your two pointer fingers either under the knees or inbetween the arm pits of the person sitting. now all lift the person this is to judge what the persons weight feels like so the person is now being susspended by 8 fingers total set the person back down. Now I usually lead the next part because I was one of the original taught it and i showed a lot of friends back then so what we would do is I would say ok now everyone you cannot talk anymore you have to concentrate if you laugh it will break it instantly and we could drop the person, I say this part because when you get them up and feel the weightlessness you tend to laugh in amazement. I then explain that we will take a few seconds to relax and focus then ill out one of my hands over the person who was sittings head about an inch or so above it so it isnt touching. and then a few seconds later the next person would put their hand over mine about an inch or so and so on then i would let us all just have about 30 seconds to focus on thinking the person will be lighter when i feel its time I would nod at the person whos hand was on the top and he would take it away I would wait a few seconds then nod at the next and so on so that I remove mine last, reverse order from the way we started. Once I remove my hand we all silently put our hands back in the position to lift with the two pointer fingers and lift the person this time there was always a very noticable change in weight. You could press people against the ceailing walk them around whatere all with two fingers each. This worked ever single time i did it, which was a lot, and there were many time where a bunch of us little 7th graders would lift large grown men without effort. And as you can se we were not really trained and the process was extremely simple takes about two minutes tops. Just wanted to share this to see what the thoughts were. After learning more about psi and all that now I feel that is proabably what was being affected but not sure anyways there it is, look forward to any responces

I have actually heard of this technique, and the person who described it said that it does work. I look forward to trying it.

now, what i want to know is not whether it really works, but why and how this works, even with people that have no formal training once so ever.
