I list this question under physical abilities simply because it is in the description for this area. Anyways, probably the most apparent ability that I have discovered within myself is precognition. I have had it for quite some time but only after I tried energy manipulation did it start to become more apparent.
I have a couple of examples of this:
1. Intense deja vu. I will often find myself in a situation that I am sure I have seen. I soon realize that I had dreamed of this moment. I remember everything around me and where everyone around me is. It can even be as specific as who is talking at the time. The problem is since I dream these events, I always forget the dream until the event takes place. Sometimes it can be quite a while before it happens but I always remember once it takes place.
2. My second example is a little less dramatic but at least it happens when I am conscious, and it is more frequent. I am a big fan of The Simpson's and Family Guy. To the point where I will typically watch at least one episode of each in a day. Now I know that sounds irrelevent but... What happens is at some random point in a day I will suddenly remember some funny quote or event from either of these shows. I am not discussing or thinking about the show already, it just pops into my head. So, I usually chuckle a little, because it is funny, and shrug it off as nothing and carry on with my day. Later in the day, I will be watching TV and the show in question will be on. The episode is almost always the one containing the quote or event I thought of in the day.
Now these examples are interesting and entertaining, but don't actually help me much. Mainly because I don't remember what I foresaw until it happens. My question is, how can I focus this ability to a practical use that is accurate?

I would certainly advise writing your dreams down soon as you wake up.
Then you can look back and judge how accurate they were .
Maybe from looking back you will understand it more.
eg. how often it happens, how accurate it is. whether it feels like
a normal dream when you have it. etc etc.

Hmm.. I would agree with you but even in the course of the night I will forget the dream before I wake up :smt015 . The only dreams I really remember are the ones that most people remember that don't make any rational sense (unless they were analyzed by a psychiatrist maybe). The ones that are rational and turn out to be precognitive I could not remember for the life of me, not even overnight. If it did happen though that I remembered in the morning I would write it down. Hasn't happened yet, though. That's why I want to see if maybe I could control it in a more conscious state so that I would write down what I see right away. The closest idea that might help would be meditation, but I wouldn't know where to go from there once in a meditative state...

i have both of those stronger and a few other abilities too. I havent had too many sucessful forced precog events, but the 3 or 4 times its worked, ive done the following.
Cleared my mind of absolutely everything.
Put up a shield of energy very lightly touching my skin, floating just out side it. I give it a task of picking up energy readings and amplifying them, before projecting them inward, or if you can visualize it, stretching outward without moving or changing size [think "time"]. (I'm not sure what it will do for you, but for me if I do it right, it creates a very short range time-tunnel sort of thing that goes forward a set amount, anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 days).
And then I let just one idea break the void. It cant be too general or too specific, but if you can get it general enough to get a large range of answers back and specific enough that they might actually help, it works better.
anyways, as i said before, thats only worked 3 or 4 times, but it is the best i have to offer as far as forced precognition goes. If you manage to improve the technique, please let me know (I'm curious too, you know).

Number two happens often and is really quite overt with me: I'll have been talking about the show to someone, and then I will actually see it.
Number one used to happen often when I was in elementary school. I remember dreaming about this one kid running past me, me turning around and yelling something, at this specific place in the hall. Deja vu is weird.
I've also had a sort of "Number Three" from time to time, wherein a thought will suddenly just pop into my head. The most recent example of this, however, was at least five or six months ago, when I had accurately predicted the timeframe (but not the exact time) in which this one girl would have dumped me and it had actually happened. :P
The one time I tried to force it it didn't work. So I decided to just let it break through whenever it wants to.
However, while it's not exactly precognition, I can sometimes also tell if something is actually supposed (or "destined" you could say, to some extent) to happen.

Hmm, you're last ability might be just logical prediction. If you can tell something's supposed to happen then that's probably what it is. That's how people try to predict the weather.
lol you don't need to call these things "number one, two, three..." I just used that to organize my examples. But hey, whatever.
I haven't posted in this thread for a while even though I did try your example Pavlov's Dog. So I guess I'll tell you what happened.
Not much. I could sense some things around me but they were all coming too fast and too many irrelevent things were in there. When I tried to make my sheild more restrictive, I got next to nothing. I only felt a couple emotions that didn't lead to anything. No sounds or images though.
Any thoughts?

Fine, I'll reply. I actually was away for a long time, so I had no idea you tried.
Like I tried to convey, its really delicate. Thats why I dont often get a good one. The field needs to get enough stuff to form a reading, but it needs to know in advance what sort of stuff to get and what to filter out. When I first tried to do it, I got a shit load of empathy readings because I was walking around in the high school. Goths have messed up empathy readings. Anyways, I really cant just say "tune your shield to this frequency..." what works for me will probably not work for you. It's like tuning a radio, sometimes stuff is in different spots. Sometimes I wonder if it actually needs a link between me and a future me. Really wierd. I should really try to do a study on this stuff. I dont have very much time for it though, not right now. I seriously have so much crap piling up all around me. I feel like I'm being buried alive in it all. Anyways, around the first week or so of february, I'm going to retry ANKA's training guide, because I did a bad job the first time I think. That's probably the nearest time I can try to research different frequencies for you. And if anything pops up for you, you can post in on here or something, but I might not come back for a month or so. If it would help to get it there faster, for any reason, you can email it to DennisNedry@gmail.com

Well, I've got something the same and yet different. I know when a Deja Vu is coming. I can feel when a Deja Vu is about to happen and I can tell what is going to happen, but only because I've seen it before. I never considered it to be precognition, because I already knew it. I only had to tell what I had seen before. Sort of like watching a movie the second time, you already know what is coming next. Not always precise, because you forget a lot after the first time, but some special things you have remembered.
So it feels like a Deja Vu for me, but for the people around me it could be considered precognition.

I have a comment on remembering dreams...
Often I find myself in a state between wakefulness and sleep in the morning, when a dream has ended. I still can recall the dream clearly, and can process it relatively well. I run all the way through the dream several times, attempting to commit it to memory before becoming 'fully concious'. It's a very strange state, and there is definately a noticeable shift between it and when you open your eyes. I've yet to fully explore it, but it does seem applicable to this situation in that it allows you to review the dream. XD Sadly, I have no idea if anyone else has a space between waking and sleeping like this; but if you do, use it. If you don't, strive for it.

maybe if you tried the lucid dream exercise (during the day when you're conscious ask yourself if you're dreaming) day after day and got used to it, then tried it in your dreams you may be able to remember them better since you will be paying closer attention to them. it will take a couple weeks of practice to get to that state, but once you're there it will be worth it because then you get to enjoy the feeling of your precognition before it happens not during. i'm not entirely sure if this exercise will help but it doesn't hurt to try.

strange thing happened th other night, a telepath got in contact with me(i will put his name here if he wishes), we started chatting over the phone etc.
after he delved into my mind, later on that evening, i had a precog type experience. it seemed that someting was obstructing my view, im ot sure what, i tried moving it outta the way, and just before i woke up i moved around the object, and saw the telepath. the next day he sent me a picture, and it was him from the dream.
